For its 24th release, MindTrip welcomes Ivan Szew to the label with his debut EP, ‘Full Circle’.
Born in Buenos Aires, but currently based in Barcelona, Ivan Szew is active in electronic music since 2011. Since then, he has published his original music under several labels including Persistent and Subsist, but under his ISZ moniker. After years of developing his own trademark sound, which extends from Birmingham to industrial and 90’s techno, he starts a new chapter on his musical journey.
‘Full Circle’ EP consists of four techno tracks. ‘Melian’ gets things moving quickly with a huge kick. ‘Full Circle’ keeps things rough with distorted elements and a very distinct break. Ivan Szew shares the same energy with ‘Causality’, which is a perfect tool for sets with higher BPM. ‘Slammed’ is the epilogue, which makes a clear statement about Ivan’s uncompromised, dark and clear-cut sound direction.
