OPILEC MUSIC is launching the ‘I-Robots Present: The Insiders EP – Issue I’ of a two part various artist series; the aim of the series is to take all indie dance and electronic rock oriented material to completely rework it.
I-ROBOTS is giving his personal take on music that is either forthcoming on OPILEC MUSIC or already part of the heavy back catalogue. Re-imagining ‘You + I ?’ from Ego Neco, ‘Society For Two’ from Scott Ryser, ‘Days Of Mercy’ from No More, ‘2600 Noise’ from Schaltkreis Wassermann and ‘Corale In Volo N° 3′ from EstOvest like only he could with huge flourishes and “not only” Italo fever.
We are presenting I-ROBOTS’ reconstruction of the track ‘2600 Noise’ from the pioneer of early 80’s electronica Schaltkreis Wassermann. He and I-ROBOTS started collaborating around 10 years ago and along the way have created some great tracks that have been highlights for the label. ‘2600 Noise’ is taken from a forthcoming package on OPILEC MUSIC which includes remixes from heavyweights Daniele Baldelli & Marco Dionigi.
