The 183rd Klubikon Podcast is mixed by Moroccan DJ and producer Zakem.

Zakem, co-founder of Avenoir Music, has been a key figure in Morocco’s electronic scene since 2015. His notable works include ‘When We Meet’, a remix of Shikiria by Enzo Siffredi & MoBlack, and Mors Medusae.

Now, Zakem joins forces with H.NOT on ‘I Can’t Breathe’, blending Afro house rhythms with emotive textures to reflect both artists’ commitment to innovative and engaging electronic music.

‘I Can’t Breathe’ encapsulates the synergy between Zakem and H.NOT, offering a deep, rhythmic experience that aligns with Avenoir Music’s vision.

“‘I Can’t Breathe’ is a deeply personal track for me. It’s a stripped-back, atmospheric piece that unfolds gradually, building around layered percussion and delicate melodic fragments. My aim was to create something immersive. I wanted to make a track that balances introspection with a sense of steady, underlying momentum. Hopefully it’s music that invites you in.

To accompany the release, I’ve curated this exclusive mixtape for Klubikon featuring ‘I Can’t Breathe’ alongside a selection of tracks that capture the sound and atmosphere I gravitate towards in my sets. It’s a blend of deep, percussive grooves and expansive melodic passages — a mix that reflects how I like to guide a journey, pulling listeners in and taking them somewhere without them even realizing it.” – Zakem

The 181st Klubikon Podcast is mixed by the American DJ and producer A Path Untold.

A Path Untold is the expansive musical vision of composer and producer Daniel Merrill, known for crafting a boldly unique signature sound that blends elements of atmospheric slow-house, future garage, breakbeat, and downtempo aesthetics.

This adventurous hybrid, A Path Untold, is equally suited for eclectic dancefloors and intimate listening spaces alike, offering immersive, melodic storytelling through innovative composition. His music channels deeply personal, heartfelt expression with an emotional, otherworldly quality, seamlessly fusing elegant, syncopated grooves with an undercurrent of fierce defiance. Thematically, his work explores profound dualities: ancient and futuristic, euphoric and melancholic, technological and natural, individual and collective.

Daniel Merrill debuted the A Path Untold project with the release of ‘Secret Subtle Light’ in 2015, setting the tone for his alchemical approach to production. Drawing from a diverse array of genre influences, the album introduced listeners to a deeply introspective yet expansive sonic world – one both meditative and transformative in its scope. Building on this foundation, subsequent releases such as 2018’s ‘Wander to Serve’ LP, 2020’s ‘Lone Dweller’ EP, and 2022’s ‘Sourcery’ LP released in collaboration with the renowned art collective The Chambers Project, have garnered international acclaim. These works are celebrated for their intricate production, emotional resonance, and the ability to transport listeners through evocative, cinematic soundscapes.

Now, he unveils a double album via Epidemic Sound: ‘In The Light of Shadow’ and ‘Realms of Solace’, both offering an immersive blend of cinematic breakbeat, ethereal slow-house, and future garage.

Listen to the 181st Klubikon Podcast.

“‘Realms of Solace’ has been a very special project, and album for me – it’s a sonic reflection of the emotions and moments that have shaped my creative path. Its fusion of mystical melodies, textured driving rhythms, and cinematic world-building capture a sense of movement between light and shadow, ancient and future. To bring that feeling to life in a new way, I created this hour-long mix that blends tracks from the album with some select older pieces that still resonate with me. It’s an exploration of where I’ve been and where I am now, both as an artist and a storyteller through the medium of sound. If this mix speaks to you, I’d suggest also checking out ‘In The Light Of Shadow’, the EP I put out just before ‘Realms of Solace’. It focuses on more of a future garage breakbeat vibe and leans into further contrast of dualistic elements – light/shadow, euphoria/melancholy. Together, they form a blended journey through different moods and spaces, and I think they complement each other nicely.” – A Path Untold

The 180th Klubikon Podcast is mixed by the French DJ and producer Mud Deep, co-founder of D.KO Records.

Drawing on his passion for Detroit techno and the experimental music of Warp Records, Mud Deep—real name Théo Macari—has developed a distinctive sound that skillfully fuses these varied influences. He rose to prominence as a co-founder of the independent label D.KO Records, alongside Flabaire, Mézigue and GGGG. The label serves as a platform to support and promote emerging artists in the electronic music scene, while also showcasing his own musical creations.

Mud Deep’s productions are characterized by their diversity and depth. From hypnotic rhythms to varied sonic textures, each track is carefully constructed to captivate the listeners and transport them on an immersive musical journey. His most notable works include tracks such as ‘The Knee Of Justice’ and ‘Lamar’, and more recently his remix of the iconic Klaus Nomi. Compositions such as ‘Zorglub’ and ‘Mesonyx’ testify to his ability to explore more experimental sonic territory.

As well as his commitment to electronic music, Mud Deep has a passion for video game music, which is sometimes reflected in his compositions, adding a playful, immersive dimension to his music.

The 179th Klubikon Podcast is mixed by the Italian DJ and producer Alex Dolby.

Active in the electronic music scene for over 20 years, with more than 30 EPs and over six albums released on top labels such as Global Underground, Bedrock, Arts, Modularz, and his own Affekt Recordings, Italian DJ and producer Alex Dolby has demonstrated unparalleled versatility and creativity. He is currently working with his own label Sequential Shift.

Alex Dolby experienced the evolution of electronic music personally, where he skilfully managed the fusion of technology and artistic creativity. He distinguished himself not only by technical prowess, but also through his deep love for analogue sounds, rough textures and hard rhythms. These elements, combined with a dystopian aesthetic, create a unique sound experience.

Alex Dolby’s talent as a DJ has not gone unnoticed. The ability to mix sounds expertly and connect with the crowd led him to perform in the best clubs around the world. Each performance is a sonic journey that draws listeners into a parallel world of powerful vibrations and immersive atmospheres.

In 2012, Alex Dolby transformed his own ideas and musical vision into a concrete project, opening his own club, Affekt Club. This space quickly became a reference point in Italy for all techno music lovers. With innovative programming and excellent sound quality. Unfortunately, like many other cultural realities, the Affekt Club had to close its doors in 2020.

French producer, composer, and DJ GGGG, also known as Gabriel, founded the label D.KO Records in 2013 alongside Flabaire, Mézigue, and Mud Deep. Focused on physical media, the label released its first vinyl record and has since continued to release music in a variety of styles.

Through D.KO, GGGG helps artists develop and build their projects while also overseeing the label’s events. After 10 years at Studio Villette45, GGGG, along with D.KO, developed Studio LaHaie—a residence and creative hub that hosts many artists affiliated with the label.

A passionate fan of machines and modular synths, GGGG is presenting a live solo show this year, featuring a mix of smoky sounds, electro, ghetto, IDM, and other electronic influences.

“I made this mix spontaneously, without preparation. It starts with some deep tracks and naturally progresses toward more break and electro sounds.
Andreas Bühler is a progressive house producer and DJ from Germany, known for his ability to seamlessly guide his audience from the sunny, melodic vibes of the beach to the darker, driving energy of the nightclub.

Bühler’s passion for music began at the age of six with piano lessons. By 1997, he was DJing in clubs across Germany, Austria, and Poland, playing a captivating blend of progressive trance and house influenced by iconic artists like Deep Dish, Paul van Dyk, and John Digweed.

A vintage synthesizer enthusiast, Bühler began his production journey with Cubase in 1996, moving to Logic and eventually Ableton Live as his technical expertise grew. His career pivoted significantly in 2018 after joining Finish More Music (FMM). Under the mentorship of Keith Mills, he refined his skills and mindset, leading to collaborations with artists like Nick Muir, Dave Gardner (Sasha), and Quivver. His creative partnership with Alex O’Rion during the pandemic further solidified his status in the progressive house scene.

Today, Bühler’s music captivates global audiences, with support from leading artists like Hernan Cattaneo, Alex O’Rion, GMJ & Matter. Mentored by Dowden and Keith Mills, Andreas Bühler is steadily rising to become one of the standout names in progressive house music.
