BRENNT is the latest project by Brent Vanneste, who is best known for his atmospheric grunge-core sounds in the post-metal band STAKE (former Steak Number Eight), which he co-founded at an early age. Apart from heavy guitars his roots are equally soaked in electronic music as he, early on, started creating experimental psytrance with his siblings in PSYGASUS, using Windows XP, some djembe and a guitar. Later he also provided the hard BPM’s in the electro-clash band Raveyards.

BRENNT varies from avant garde and ambient techno to hard-core flavoured big room techno – and so much more in between – always consistent in caring for the emotional layers throughout all these different BPM’s.

Tribute EP to Christine Sleurs is between rave and new beat with four tracks of violent and hypnotic techno, mixing grunge and post apocalyptic influences. “Mermaid songs that don’t sound like a siren!”

We are presenting the second track ‘Christine’.

David Asko a regular to the label, returns with original material following appearances on imprints such as Variance and Drum Tunnel with a distinct driving and rolling sound. ‘Addiction’ EP features two tracks, ‘69000’ and ‘76000’, with remixes from Oliver Deutschmann and Darzack whose we are about to present.

After releasing on Parisian label La Brique, he makes his debut to A-TRACTION in some style. Darzack completes ‘Addiction’ EP with his tough and thundering remix of the track ‘76000’. Tribal toms and eccentric drum work lead the way before the rave influenced euphoric break take hold with luscious deep vibes, making it an outstanding piece of club weaponry.
