Their third VA compilation ‘Jeju 濟州’ features 12 new tracks by Cyme, Earthen Sea, Asymmetric, Xylème, Bmbmnd, Eyvind Blix, kannabi, Stigr, Asllan, Hyein, Kontinum, Massa, Comarobot, Scøpe, Skóll, Ben Kaczor & Morphing Territories and Alume, whose track ‘Hy’naku’ we are presenting today.

Alume is a producer from Rotterdam, owner of the NYAME label, who believes that language is an obstruction and explains: “I always aim to keep my music open for interpretation of the listener so I try to not give too much direction. The track title is a bit part of that, no language, or any words of meaning. The track titles I imagine are usually references to spaces or places from a long time ago, before complex lifeforms even existed.”
