Sven Väth – Feiern
Njemački gigant Sven Väth dogodine će objaviti novi album “Catharsis”, a program zagrijavanja upravo je otvoren sjajnim novim singlom “Feiern”, prvim nakon 15 godina. Album je nastao kao suradnja sa starim prijateljem i produkcijskim čarobnjakom Gregorom Tresherom, a izlazi za Cocoon Recordings.

Jedna od najvećih američkih EDM zvijezda ILLENIUM iz trogodišnje šutnje izvukao je bend Thirty Seconds to Mars koji predvodi karizmatični glumac Jared Leto.

Elad Magdasi – Robotricks
Aquaregia Records, etiketa koju vodi Emily Nicoll, istražuje različita lica acid zvuka s novom kompilacijskom serijom “Acid Analects”. Nicola Dal Sacco, Elad Magdasi, 747 i DJ Huntsman potpisuju četiri trake prve kompilacije, “Acid Analects Vol. 1”, a Klubikon je premijerno predstavio drugu traku “Robotricks” producenta s berlinskom adresom Elada Magdasija.

Najavna traka zvuk je Svenova pozivanja publike da se vrati plesnim podijima nakon godine zatvorenosti, koju je on sam u nemogućnosti nastupanja uživo iskoristio za stvaranje nove muzike. “Feiern” je golema himna našeg vremena, strastvena, slavljenička i puna nade, kao stvorena za krcate klubove i masovna okupljanja na velikim festivalima.

Uz originalnu verziju, izdanje sadrži i radijski edit i dub varijantu trake.

20 years is a long time in any facet of life, but in techno it is eons. The genre evolves so quickly that staying relevant for even half that time is some achievement, so to still be recognised as one of the genre’s most iconic and influential labels after such an extended period is testament to the vision of its founder Sven Väth. The popular character, much loved DJ and always innovative creative force started out with an early rave techno sound back in the late eighties that he has steered into much broader realms ever since. Thanks to carefully A&Ring a mix of red hot new talents and plenty of his original pioneering peers, Väth has ensured Cocoon has always covered all points of the spectrum: there have been hundreds of thrilling dance floor 12″s, a treasure trove of full length albums that have brought plenty of detail and depth to techno and multiple mix series including the annual Sound of the Season which distills Ibiza’s latest trends into two vital CDs, and the annual alphabet compilations which showcase the label’s finest moments.

Then, of course, there have been the parties, which have taken many forms over the years, from self-run festivals like Green and Blue & Cocoon in the Park to carefully curated label nights at the world’s foremost clubs via, most famously, their flagship and globally recognised Monday night parties in Ibiza at super clubs such as Amnesia. These very much introduced the White Isle to techno and in the 20 years since the first party have become family gatherings that have solidified the sound’s presence on the island for ever more, thanks to the world class line ups, out of this world production, colourful characters and fantastical themes that have made each session so legendary.

Cocoon’s unique brand of techno has always been at the heart for the operation and now, these brand new and exclusive 15 tracks from Rampa, Emanuel Satie, Solomun, Gregor Tresher, Joseph Ashworth, Pig&Dan, Josh Wink, Ricardo Tobar, Tiga & Roman Flügel, Planetary Assault Systems, Jacek Sienkiewicz, André Galluzzi & Daniel Stefanik, Extrawelt, Petar Dundov and Sebastian Mullaert, confirm that once again.

Despite its rich history, this fantastic collection of new and exclusive music continues to look to the future and take techno in bold new directions, just as Cocoon always has.

We are presenting ‘Raww’, a techno track from the exceptional minimalist Planetary Assault Systems aka Luke Slater who is getting you in a spin with his mind melting cosmic melodies and pounding drum rhythms.

Cocoonovo jedinstveno viđenje techna oduvijek je bilo u srcu cijelog biznisa koji se proširio i na klupske večeri, a sve je, naravno, pažljivo kurirao sam Sven, sjajno balansirajući predstavljanje nadolazećih talenata sa suradnjama s jednako legendarnim kolegama. Sve skupa danas čini gotovo pa povijest techna i svih njegovih rukavaca. No nemojmo se dati zavarati da je ova kompilacija samo jedan nostalgičan pogled u bolju prošlost jer su stvari na njoj, naprotiv, opet duboko futurističke i kreativne te otvaraju nova vrata. Među 15 prisutnih imena nama je svakako najzanimljiviji naš Petar Dundov, koji sudjeluje sa svojom prepoznatljivom melodijskom čarolijom trake “Overtone”.
