Rotterdam’s house talent Nigel Hey continues a huge 2025 with a new three-track EP ‘Hey!’ on Flâneur Music.

Dutch fashion brand Flâneur launched its label back in May with a standout single from UK talents CNR + Matrefakt, and now Nigel Hey keeps the quality levels high on its second release. He has a high-energy sound built on infectious rhythms, and so, after early production credits including Rauw Alejandro’s global hit ‘El Efecto’, he is now making solo waves in the club and the studio. His contemporary sound is stripped-back and functional, yet big in character, and has recently garnered support from the likes of Sidney Charles.

First up is ‘Come on to Me’, which is a turbocharged space-tech cut with astral melodies and thumping grooves. It’s a perfect mix of physicality and musicality with a killer bassline. ‘Ease Your Mind’ ups the ante with another full-fat groove, this time blending garage bounce with house soul and a diva vocal that ignites the whole track. It’s pure heart for the peak time, and last but not least comes ‘Aﬀection’. This silky, swinging garage-house cut, featuring raw drums and firm kicks, has soulful pads that soften the heart as the feet march along and deft keys twinkle above.

Dutch fashion brand Flâneur launches its new label with the first single from UK artists CNR + Matrefakt. The Merseyside talents serve up a passionate tech house anthem in ‘sun – sky’.

FLÄNEUR is one of Europe’s fastest-growing fashion labels, and draws on cultural and musical elements in its designs. Now it branches out with a new label to “push the boundaries of cultural expression” and act as a global platform for the next generation, serving as a portal into the future of sound and style.

Liverpool pair Zac Fitzsimmons and Tony Burns, aka Matrefakt, have dropped big, high-impact sounds since 2018. They mix up house, acid, techno and more with a sense of grit and style on labels like Gudu Records, Of Unsound Mind and their own Attitudes To Life. CNR also hails from Merseyside and is known for heavy underground blends of house and techno that channel raw warehouse energy

Their superb ‘sun – sky’ has driving drums and bass that soon sweep you up. A wordless vocal adds a sense of soul and tugs at the heart as sustained chords lead towards a spine-tingling breakdown with epic piano chords taking things up another level. It’s an irresistibly big and emotive summer-ready sound designed to blow up clubs all over the world.
