Anchored by atmospheric rhythms and alluring melodies, the track balances dancefloor focus with a smooth emotional pull, landing somewhere between late-night introspection and forward motion.

There’s a clear nod to 90s house in its warmth and restraint, but Take Control keeps its sound polished and current. Rather than chasing excess, GD SOL lets the groove do the heavy lifting, drawing the listener in gradually through texture, repetition and tone. It feels confident, refined and quietly immersive — a strong step forward from a producer continuing to sharpen his identity.

“‘Take Control’ feels like my most complete track yet, I wanted it to sound almost hypnotising.” – GD SOL
