This collaboration with The YellowHeads is forthcoming on UMEK’s own label 1605, which has become a main outlet for the label owners own tracks, but he has also featured on other iconic imprints such as Intec, Filth On Acid and Tronic.

Alongside the original track titled ‘Driller’ the release also includes a heavyweight remix pack featuring Teenage Mutants, Beico and Heerhorst.

We are presenting the remix from Heerhorst, who closes out the release with a version that refines the original with a slightly more stripped back sound, that gives each of the parts room to breathe and intertwine, while the fast-flowing percussion rhythms fill the track with unstoppable forward momentum.

We are presenting the third track ‘Moto’, a heavy techno cut that works perfectly for peak time DJ ...]]> Jannowitz Records welcomes back Hamburg-based techno DJ and producer Heerhorst, after he published his music under many labels including Stil vor Talent, Octopus and Tronic. ‘Meltdown’ EP consists of three original tracks and a remix from Olivier Weiter.

We are presenting the third track ‘Moto’, a heavy techno cut that works perfectly for peak time DJ sets. It bursts of details and little bits and pieces. But it’s highlight is the violin melody rising up in the middle of the break, giving the track almost a gentle touch before it vanishes into a dark rolling kick drum.
