Since its inception in March 2019, the imprint has been synonym with the most extreme spheres of the techno scene, presenting a recurrent post-apocalyptic sound through the genre’s diverse sonic fields.

For its fourth release, the Barcelona based label welcomes 11 artists from 6 different countries for a 10 track compilation with some of the label’s mainstays, new players and old school legends, Codex Empire, Samot, Joton, VII Circle, Downwell, Julian Muller, PØLI, Lorenzo Raganzini, Surit, Jerm and Dahlia.

Expect high-octane, merciless tones on this hard pounding and raving techno compilation.

We are presenting the opening track ‘Primary Function’ with squelchy bass and an EBM drive from A+W regular Codex Empire.

]]> PREMIERE: 90 Process izrešetali adrenalinski acid evergreen “Basic Fairness” https://klubikon.com/2017/05/23/premiere-90-process-izresetali-adrenalinski-acid-evergreen-basic-fairness/ Tue, 23 May 2017 16:00:31 +0000 http://klubikon.com/?p=12752 Kao što i samo ime projekta govori, 90 Process je tandem orijentiran na 90’s underground zvuk, a čine Julian Muller i Hadone. Muller je ovisnik o vinilu i osnivač etikete Initial Berlin, na čijim se izdanjima mogu naći sjajni techno autori kao Seatoc Mass i UVB, a Hadone je samozatajni industrial / dub techno majstor s iznimno razvijenim talentom za građenje hipnotičkih traka. Očito je i da pripadaju staroj školi klupskih izvođača, pošto ne mare puno za PR, opsežne biografije i konceptualno razglabanje o muzici – ovdje su jednostavno zato da plasiraju najintenzivnije trake i dovedu nas u zonu.

Njihova svježa traka “Basic Fairness” u potpunosti ispunjava ovu zadaću. Uskoro će izaći na “Acid Froggies” kompilaciji etikete Tripalium Corp ( s koje smo već imali zadovoljstvo predstaviti Blush Response remiks Verset Zero trake “Lux”, kao i Rubbish T.C “Still Untill”), a kao što ime izdanja autoironično govori, radi se o kolekciji kiselih traka francuskih autora. Obzirom na materijal koji smo imali priliku čuti, nalaze se u odličnom društvu, pošto cijelo izdanje odiše zavodljivom prljavštinom raznovrsnih mutacija acid žanra – s naglaskom na techno. Njihova se stvar posebno izdvaja izrazitim adrenalinskim nabojem:

Stvar kreće s ozbiljno polomljenim jungle bubnjevima, a zatim zvučnu sliku okupira bubajući militantni kick. Nakon prvih, najavnih tragova acid dionice, akcija kreće u nabrijanom retro smjeru. Premda se radi o vrlo očitom odavanju počasti 90-tima, u ovom slučaju je teško govoriti o nostalgiji, pošto traka kida sve šavove i zateže opne zvučnika do pucanja. Fraze se mijenjaju često, a kroz dobivenu dinamiku pršti svježina. Sama acid linija ne komplicira pretjerano, već sijeva kroz klasične rifove probijajući plafone. Jasno je da 90 Process imaju ovaj stil u malom prstu, pošto se osjeti da svojim strojevima barataju s izvanrednom lakoćom. Čak i ako ste umorni, loše volje ili (nedajbože) niste fan ovog stila, “Basic Fairness” će vam vratiti osmijeh na lice uz par dobronamjernih udaraca nogom u lijeno dupe.

Ostatak izdanja je također intenzivan, a posebno su zanimljive neke od bizarnijih traka, kao što je industrial masakr “Murder Rate” koji potpisuju Paris Acid Boys, psihodelična retro-bizarnost “Eczéma Mon Amour” koju su skrivili Mono-Enzyme 307 i ležerni, psihoaktivni otrov “AcidLontan” iz Automat laboratorija. U kolekciji se nalazi čak 23 trake, pa će se naći ponešto za svaki set.
