This Belfast-born stalwart has been an underground mainstay for almost 20 years. He continually operates at the sharp end of the scene with a mix of cutting-edge sound designs and compelling rhythms imbued with found sound and spoken word details. He’s had high-profile support from tastemakers like Laurent Garnier, DVS1 and Truncate and following on from a strong series of EPs in recent years, he is now back with a superb full-length ‘Healing Time’.

‘Healing Time’ was written over the last few years, with three previously released tracks edited and revisited. The name refers to the creative process during and after the pandemic, and it finds him exploring new vocal depths as he steps up to the microphone.

“This album is an observation of thoughts and feelings, taking risks using vocals to express myself also dealing with frustration and the uncertainty of the difficulties of life we all faced during and after the pandemic, the forced direction of those in power, conflicts, power struggles, hopes and freedom of choice within that.” – Linear B

‘Healing Time’ album will be available after the 6th of October HERE.

“The mix for the 169th Klubikon Podcast is some of the current styles I’m vibing on, new retro techno and breaks.” – Linear B

As he fast approaches a 10th out on this label, Linear B continues to establish himself at the cutting edge of the electronic scene. His wealth of vital tracks have made their way into the bags of titans like DVS1, Noncompliant and Truncate, and sit in the grey area between house and techno. Stuffed with detail and built on heavy grooves, these four newest cuts continue in that tradition.

‘The Journeyman’ is another impactful EP consisting of three tracks, ‘The Journeyman’, ‘Long in the Booth’ and ‘Emerald Isle’.

We are presenting the title track ‘The Journeyman’, inspired by the difficult journeys we face in life, it opens up with a stark dystopian atmosphere. Unsettling vocals and fizzing synths combine with dark, distorted bass to make for arresting dance floor dynamite.

‘The Journeyman’ EP will be available after the 29th of October HERE.

After a standout 2020, Linear B has kept his foot on the gas this year with more of his powerful tracks. They tread a fine line between house and techno and have drawn support from DVS1, Truncate and Noncompliant, amongst others. Each new production pairs real dancefloor dynamics with a rare depth of emotion that always stands them apart.

Linear B brings a wealth of diverse influences to the hugely original ‘Finding Rainbows’ EP of club-ready electronic sounds.

We are presenting the edgy atmosphere on ‘Bugaboo’ as it expertly layers up punchy rubbery drum loops and warped synths with angst-ridden spoken word vocals.

‘Finding Rainbows’ EP will be available after the 18th of June HERE.
