Nekada autentični izrazi svojeg vremena, danas su one relikti nekih prohujalih vremena, ali iako napuštene i oronule, svejedno zadržavaju svoj duh. Ericove fotografije tako formiraju mapu francuske ostavljene arhitekture prikazujući sve od starih benzinskih crpki do tvorničkih postrojenja u kojima se više ništa ne proizvodi.

Uz njih, Tabuchi je fotografirao i napuštene disco klubove, čija su imena sama dovoljna da pobude nostalgiju čak i ako ih – a pretpostavljamo da je među našim čitateljima golem postotak upravo takvih – nikada niste posjetili: La Tour de Londres, Le Spinx, Memphis, Palm Beach ili, naravno, Paradise.
