PREMIERE: Pfirter – Event Horizon

With ‘Black Sun’, Argentinian DJ and producer Pfirter returns to his MindTrip with a focused and uncompromising four-track statement built around gravity, pressure and controlled repetition. The EP explores techno not as release, but as a sustained state of tension and inward motion.

Each track unfolds through locked grooves and subtle variations, creating a hypnotic continuum where restraint and density define the movement. ‘Black Sun’ sets the core and anchors the EP’s gravity. ‘Event Horizon’ reinforces the irreversible pull, pushing the system toward a point of no return. ‘Gravitational Collapse’ follows, compressing the energy and intensifying the pressure, before Singularity closes the record, establishing an immediate sense of motion and immersion.

Pfirter’s MindTrip presents the eleventh chapter of its ongoing series ‘Mutable Minds’, featuring four techno tracks from Mattia Dambrosio, Vanina Buniak & THER3MIN, Spaaax, and PWCCA — a new selection that reflects both continuity and evolution within the label’s sonic universe.

‘Mutable Minds XI’ VA introduces several fresh voices to Pfirter’s MindTrip: Italian artist Mattia D’Ambrosio opens the release with a track that fuses intensity and low-end depth into a powerful, immersive flow. The collaboration between THER3MIN and Vanina Buniak follows, channeling raw energy and spatial tension into a piece that echoes the essence of warehouse Techno.

Spanish producer PWCCA contributes a sharp, driving cut led by a commanding synth line, while Spaaax closes the compilation with a piece that nods to classic rhythms through a modern and detailed framework.

‘Mutable Minds XI’ continues the exploration of diverse perspectives under one shared vision — mental, physical, and ever-evolving. This is MindTrip!

Where Esilum’s debut EP for MindTrip, ‘Observation’, explored the tension between structure and emotion, the ‘Deception’ EP expands that spectrum, and amplifies the distance between its highest peaks and deepest layers. The result is a sonic landscape of striking contrasts — where precision meets fluidity, and intensity breathes through moments of silence.

Born from a spontaneous connection across lineups and releases, Damne and Nicko Shuo union merges two distinct sonic identities — melancholic textures meet focused impact, modular movement meets structural precision.

‘Dark Forest’ EP stands as both anomaly and artifact: a techno document shaped by contrast, defined by clarity, and unafraid to explore the unknown. Pfirter’s MindTrip presents ‘Observation’, a four-track techno EP by Italian duo Esilum.

After their remix of ‘Melt’ for the recent remix contest on Pfirter’s label Parallel, Esilum return with a complete sonic statement titled ‘Observation’.

Past and future intertwine across these four tracks — ’Ideal’, ‘Tazocin’, ‘Room 20-1’, and ‘Observation B’ — where hypnotic architecture meets analog warmth, and modern precision echoes the raw pulse of the 90s. This is a sonic orbit both cerebral and physical: raw at times, subtle at others, always driven by intention.

Möd3rn is the powerful alliance of Electric Rescue, Kmyle, and Moteka—renowned figures in the French techno scene with a shared passion for pushing sonic boundaries. This trio merges their expertise into a single, dynamic entity, crafting an aesthetic rooted in improvisation and the raw energy of techno. Subtle keys, cosmic drones, subterranean rumbles, and rhythmical bursts intertwine seamlessly, producing a sound that is as diverse as it is forward-thinking.

Kmyle, a familiar face to the Pfirter’s MindTrip family, left an indelible mark with his recent contribution to labels ‘Mutable Minds’ compilation. Now, as part of Möd3rn, he joins forces with Electric Rescue and Moteka to deliver ‘Cyclone Error’ EP—four tracks ‘Cyclone’, ‘Error145’, ‘Sweet Stroll’, and ‘Digitowl’, that embody their vision of contemporary and ecstatic techno.
