Letherique‘s Bella Ursa Recordings is presenting ‘Marked For Disassembly’ EP from Lab Personnel.

Hailing from Croatia, Lab Personnel is a musical collaboration turned collective and label between many like-minded artists such as Goran Lautar (aka Neon Lies), Jasmin Mahmić (aka Le Chocolat Noir, Fiume and more), Luka Kurjan (aka Man of Cloth), Marijan Katić, Nikola Kos (aka Ikonal) and Saša Rajković (aka Zarkoff, part of Sumerian Fleet, part of Neugrau and more). Over the years, they would occasionally meet for and record lengthy sessions of improvisational music. ‘Marked For Disassembly’ is their latest output.

This time, deep within the skeletal remains of an abandoned chemical processing plant, eight of their members captured the disquieting essence of a world suspended between haunting melodies and forgotten industry. Immersed in an atmosphere of palpable musical anxiety, their machines oozed up a sonic alchemy of experimental EBM where strange syncopated drums meet with eerie acid lines and gooey textures.

The French label Bella Ursa Recordings welcomes on board yet another wandering soul familiar with roving freely through the fabric of time and trends: Jack Carel.

With many years under his belt as a producer and DJ, Israeli Jack Carel offers an intriguing blend of anachronistic techno which takes inspiration from a variety of electronic realms. From chaotic EBM to chemical breakbeats, his distinctive style radiates through these nine tracks of disciplined sonic disorder on ‘Zoom Out’ LP.

‘Zoom Out’ will be released digitally on all platforms, as well as on a homemade UV-printed cassette tape with an analog collage from one of our returning visual artists: Bapt Man.

We are presenting the fifth track, ‘On This Planet’.

The French label Bella Ursa Recordings is presenting its new various artists compilation series, ‘Nebula Scarabea’. “As the mothership celebrates its second year of cruising through the boundless stars towards the Unknown, it is once again time to bring on board a new batch of like-minded souls. Collectively, we probe the myriad of cosmic layers that form the Ursa Nebulas.

After delving into the darkest depths of the Aranea Nebula, the captain woke up one day feeling an irresistible attraction towards a gentler, lighter glow. Far-off. Unusual in its presence and echoing rather exotic pulsations.

Chasing the chants of these galactic sirens, we set course to new and uncharted territories that dramatically expand the Ursa universe. This is a realm where ethereal atmospherics and eerie vocals casually meet trancey shoegaze, acid blends in with chic breakbeats, and alien rock stars appear to perform video game music. But still… be wary of the occasional grasp of elegant creepiness and cinematic constructs, palpable remnants of our previous journey.
