Consisting of four tracks, ‘Amelia’ EP is a fast-paced techno movement tinted with a variety of different drum sounds, lush stabs and even some old school raw moments bound to make damage on the floor.

We are presenting the second track ‘C.O.’ With a much faster pace and an immediate laydown of the pounding rhythmic, ‘C.O.’ is borderline 90s UK techno, especially with the ravey background dials that lurk behind the wasp creeper. Szmer ...]]> Out of Place, Croatian-based label ran by Insolate, continues with high-delivery, this time on digital with its eight release. ‘Geist’ EP is an all-around techno banger with five tracks signed by young talent from Poland, Szmer.

The tracks on ‘Geist’ EP are ranging from underwater blasts and Detroit machinery to fast attack bouncers and grinders. Szmer cleverly combines raw techno elements with industrial noise and expanding chords capturing the essence of any club oriented floor kickers. Dancers are going to dig this one!

Young Michał Aleksiewicz is a promising Poland producer and a DJ better known these days as Szmer. Walking the Techno path since 2011, he’s been playing all around Poland and also well-known European temples like Tresor and Suicide Circus, although under The Effaith moniker. In almost ten years he managed to release numerous tracks under three different aliases which are mostly influenced by Planetary Assault Systems, Ben Sims, Jeroen Search, Zadig or Sterac aka Steve Rachmad.

We are presenting the fifth and final track. Step by step hats and deep scratches into another ominous realm, ‘Staklo’ is a sinister reminder of what a pure techno vibe means. The whole release is an obvious giveaway for Szmer’s love for cymbals in all forms and ‘Staklo’ is no stranger here. Main break is sudden just as the drop which keeps on pounding until the last second.

‘Monolith’, collaboration track with Matrixxman, stands ...]]> After 20 years of her career, powerhouse of the Croatian techno scene, Insolate is announcing the debut album ‘Order Is Chaos’ that will be published under her label Out Of Place. The album contains 10 tracks including collaborations with Croatian singer-songwriter Sara Renar and Matrixxman, American musician based in Berlin.

‘Monolith’, collaboration track with Matrixxman, stands out from the other tracks as being the perfect blend of their authentic styles; dark, moody and trippy repetitive techno.

Title track ‘Order Is Chaos’ sways and shudders from floor obliterating bangers like acid – drenched ‘Circulation’, ‘Lust’ as Insolate’s trademark sound, to “homage track” ‘ReWerk’ – remake of the old track ‘Werk’, she released back in 2016 under the legendary label Deeply Rooted.

However, ‘Order Is Chaos’ goes deeper than just a straightforward techno album and you can hear that even after you listen to it for the first time.

We are presenting ‘No Room In Heaven ft. Sara Renar’, trans-dimensional vocals from Sara Renar, blended in the atmospheric pads and coated with broken techno beats, is something we still haven’t had a chance to hear from Insolate.

‘Out Of Place 005’ various artist compilation is featuring Janice, Michel Lauriola and Neznan with their absolute bangers, and a trippin tool techno track from the label owner Insolate.

We don’t know much about Neznan as it seems they wish to remain nameless… backed up by the English translation of Neznan, which is Unknown. Having music featured on TWR72’s top label Float Records we can definitely say they keep great company.

We are presenting Neznan’s ‘Kontrast’ that is raw and mehanical in essence. It’s bursting with power and energy, as well as hypnotic tones that will melt your mind. Full of character with twists and turns, this intense analogue jam is sure to devastate club floors.
