For more than 10 years now, Siles is a resident DJ of the legendary Spanish club Barraca. In only the last few years he has published his original music under many labels including Sci+Tec, Deeperfect, Senso Sounds and Stickrecordings. Now, he is back on Jannowitz Records after his debut to the label on a split EP with Raul Facio back in 2019.

‘007’ EP, named after action movie legend James Bond, is a progressive, melodic and techno package consists of two original tracks, ‘007’ and ‘Upward’, and complemented remixes from Polish duo DUSS and Italian Nico Cabeza.

We are presenting the second track ‘Upward’, groovy and melodic side of Siles.

They are developing a comic that will narrate the adventures of two small superheroes that, alongside the Alpha Black wolfpack, will ...]]> Alpha Black, a Spanish label ran by duo EKDK, is presenting ‘Mio Destino’ EP from Spanish DJ and producer TH Moy.

Alpha Black decided to collaborate with a Spanish Association Against Child Cancer ‘Fundación Aladina’. They are developing a comic that will narrate the adventures of two small superheroes that, alongside the Alpha Black wolfpack, will fight against the villain: cancer. Every release from the label will include a page from the comic, which will then be compiled into an end of the year compilation with the best tracks. All the proceedings will be donated to ‘Fundación Aladina’.

From slow to fast, attesting to TH Moy’s versatility in making music for every moment. From delicate sounds and melodies, to an energetic rolling bass and evolving basslines, he is able to encompass any emotional state. TH Moy published his music under many labels including Steyoyoke, One Of A Kind and WOOD.

‘Mio Destino’ EP consists of four original tracks and a club edit of the title track. ‘Balankula’ – The shadow of Gaia reveals itself, with the sweet scent of lavender. ‘Mio Destino’ – Decision of choosing a labyrinth. The children will need to enter to continue the chase, but in doing so will need to make tough decisions. ‘Urano’ – The key has been chosen. ‘Tenderete’ – The wolves show their teeth, they show their grit as the children will have to enter the new maze.

We are presenting ‘Urano’, a melodic techno tack with an ongoing arp and a rolling bass that continuously evolve, occasional chords and melodies that give a sign of relief.

Living ...]]> Polish brother/sister duo Rob and Sylwia, aka VONDA7, reactivate their band under their new Syr alias this winter with a debut, hypnotic two-track EP entitled ‘Little Wonders’, which will be published under the label art | werk.

‘Little Wonders’ EP which delves into deep, rich pockets of sound design whilst introducing more electronica driven territories. Living between Berlin and London, the duo produce effortlessly constructed rhythms via live instrument recordings and processed vocals with various effects, with the project set to provide a platform for Sylwia to explore a softer, more melodic side to her sound, accenting Robert’s background in sound design.

We are presenting the title cut ‘Little Wonders’, which opens proceedings as the paring weave together infectious vocal hooks amongst airy atmospheres, bright keys and electronic bass stabs to offer up a euphoric opener, before trickling into the paired back ‘1:11’ which slowly introduces emotive melodies, hazy background tones and blossoming synth lines throughout.
