Two young producers with a fresh approach to techno, TZ Project from Montenegro and Casual Treatment from France, managed to invoke the 90’s underground spirit and then married it to the contemporary syncopated hypnotics. While remixing their track “Rekvijem”, Argentinian veteran XHEI gave up the broken beat techno of the original mix in favor of a banging four-on-the-floor stomper, delivered through strict and dry hammering, colored with industrial waste and bursting with rust.
