Carl Cox is an industry figurehead who’s legacy in music includes his iconic label Intec Digital, which he runs with friend and business partner Jon Rundell, and the new release, ‘Back To The Drums’ EP, is from Washington DC based Saeed Younan.
Saeed Younan is one of America’s most accomplished DJ’s, having four years in a row been voted one of the world’s top 100 DJ’s by US magazine DJ Times.
Also an accomplished producer his tracks have been previously released on Intec, with this being his third EP for Carl Cox’s label, but others to feature his music include Great Stuff, Nervous, Suara and Toolroom.
We are presenting the second track, ‘Get Up’, which has a similar vibe to the first cut but instead of just percussive textures it also has a namesake vocal hook and a rolling bassline that adds to its free-flowing style. Sitting somewhere between techno and tech house, this genre crossing track is a certified party starter that’s guaranteed to get the dance floor moving.
