The 34th release of Tripalium Corp’s Digital Mutant Series is ‘Protruder’ EP from Finland’s DJ and producer Viktor Kalima.
Helsinki-based artist Viktor Kalima makes commanding and multifaceted club music, influenced by body music, dancehall, 90’s rave and formative dubstep. For almost a decade, he has quietly been publishing music through multiple aliases including Noir Hour and SEXFORSELFHELP, before he started publishing music as Viktor Kalima under the labels such as Infidel Bodies or Amok Tapes.
The six new tracks Viktor Kalima made for ‘Protruder’ EP are a product of cherry-picking from live sets, learning new gear, abusing borrowed equipment, stressing over developments and defacing breakbeat samples.
We are presenting the last track, an EBM techno cut ‘Bad Pills’.
