Jučerašnja objava raspada legendarnoga dua Daft Punk, oformljenoga 1993. godine u Parizu, izazvala je pravu buru reakcija iz svih dijelova svijeta, a svojim su se pozdravima dvojcu koji se u povijest popularne muzike upisao kao jedan od najutjecajnijih elektroničkih bendova svih vremena pridružili mnogobrojni muzičari.
Tako su, recimo, Disclosure objavili samo nekoliko uplakanih emotikona, dok se Erol Alkan oprostio izrazivši svoje poštovanje za “Thomasa i Guy-Mana”. UNKLE je sve nazvao krajem jedne ere, a Ian Pooley je zahvalio na remiksu trake “Chord Memory”. Bendov sunarodnjak Madeon njihovo je nasljeđe nazvao “nevjerojatno bogatim i besprijekornim”, a pohvale nisu štedjeli ni brojni drugi. Sigurni smo kako se reakcije neće stišavati ni narednih dana.
