The second release of the new Brazilian label Feetish Sonoro is ‘Leite De Pedra’ EP from the label owner Sheefit.
Inspired by artists like Helena Hauff, Danny Daze, Ellen Allien, Reeko, Djedjotronic, Jensen Interceptor and Bjork, Brazilian DJ and producer Sheefit, real name Gabriela Mariano, started her career in 2001. In more than 15 years she tried different ways of presenting the sound of techno and her most famous project is the legendary duo Motormorfoses. She has published her original music under many labels including MEMNTGN, AudioCode, LPZ, Cerebelo, Bicuda, Animasola and Cannibal Society.
‘Leite De Pedra’ translated from Portuguese to English means ‘Stone Milk’, it’s an expression often used in third world situations when it’s necessary to obtain the results from scarce resources. ‘Leite De Pedra’ EP consists of three tracks, ‘Leite De Pedra’, ‘Pedra’ and ‘Leite’, all inspired by the contrasts of reality, tragedy and comedy, heaviness and softness, solid and liquid.
