A distinct Belgian flavour rings out on the title track of Cri Du Coeur’s ‘Soldier’ EP, as the New Beat influence is embraced on this acidic stomper that recalls the heyday of rave and techno.
It’s of no surprise then, to learn that the producer hails from Belgium, and having spent his formative years fuelled by the sounds of Derrick May, The Prodigy, Laurent Garnier and the raves of the era, Jerome Delfosse has assumed the Cri Du Coeur moniker to release these old skool techno sounds.
Having previously released on labels such as D.A.V.E. The Dummer’s Hydraulix, FLASH Recordings and Arkham Audio, this promising producer deploys first rate bangers across a trio of tracks that are all sealed with a turbulent and hard-hitting energy that ticks all the boxes.
We are presenting ‘Soldier’.
‘Soldier’ EP will be available on Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains from the 14th of January HERE.
