Brazilian label Macro Hits is presenting ‘Sudor’, 16-track various artist compilation in two parts featuring artists from Brazil and Paraguay.
Born out of a mutual love for uplifting dance music, Macro Hits is a brand-new label run by Amanda Mussi and Ananda, two DJs at the forefront of the Brazilian rave scene. Music that fits their taste is groovy and made for the dancefloor, not for hiding moodily in a corner.
Inspired both graphically and sonically by the graffiti of their hometowns, Amanda’s Sao Paulo and Ananda’s Rio de Janeiro, Macro Hits unites some of the best and most distinct talents from South America. Ranging from house, techno, electro, and breaks, ‘Sudor’ VA comes in two parts featuring 16 tracks from Ananda, Martinelli, Macro Dancers, ERAM, NORA, Ariel Me Llamo, CRAZED (BR), Amanda Mussi, Giograng, Sebastian G, ALXS, Nog4yra, Projekt Gestalten, Felix, Victoria Mussi, Cosmo Lopez and SLOW, artists from Brazil and Paraguay, some already known, and some more underground.
Sudor, which translates as sweat, is a compilation that distills sounds and images from a typical rave off the burgeoning Latin American scene that has been slowly but steadily sipping into the dance music phenomenon that has taken over the world. As a result, it is the perfect sampler of electronic music from that side of the world with one clear objective: making you sweat on the dancefloor.
