Berlin based duo crouds are back on the German label RFR Records with techno, breakbeat and trance EP, ‘Bionic Jelly’.
crouds is a German duo consisting of Andreas Schuller and Jay Nagel. They have published their original music under many labels including Molten Moods, Intumi and TRUNCATE.
Subsequent to their formidable collaboration with Max Delius on the ‘Orange Blood’ EP a few months prior, crouds are delivering the next tracks for RFR Records. ‘Bionic Jelly’ EP, which consists of three tracks, ‘It’s A Match’ in collaboration with Ben Haviour, ‘Stomache Grind’ and ‘Shifting Space’, still moves in style within the croudian sound biotope, yet places the tooly aspect a little bit more in the foreground.
We are presenting the third track ‘Shifting Space’, a heavy 90s vibe. Kinda reminiscent of Luke Vibert in his best Rephlex days. Minimal, interlaced and mystical. ‘Shifting Space’ not only moves space, but also time. Because this is what’s needed in order to enjoy the true depth of this track.
