Boom Merchant’s Tribal Pulse welcomes British DJ and producer Obsidian Wave with his four-track ‘Ready2Rock’ EP.
Born from London’s jungle and hardcore rave scene, Obsidian Wave’s raw, damaging breakbeat and techno sound is simultaneously forward-thinking, and laden with distorted chunks of the past. He works as a solo artist and a quarter of the rave collective We Kill Culture.
Tribal Pulse is a renowned record label based in Scotland, dedicated to showcasing cutting-edge electronic music from around the globe for the past ten years releasing artists such as Dave Seaman, Silicon Soul, Alchemiah and Acidulant to name a few.
The ‘Ready2Rock’ EP features two original tracks, ‘Ready2Rock’ and ‘Allnighter’, along with two remixes of ‘Ready2Rock’—‘Nightmare’ and ‘Tomorrow’—crafted by Ukraine’s breaks scientist, Hockins.
We are presenting the opening track ‘Ready2Rock’.
