PREMIERE: PRYCEY – Rompe La Pista

UK-born selector and producer PRYCEY inaugurates his self-titled label with ‘BATCH001’—a four-track release that lands squarely in the lineage of percussive, heads-down club tools, primed for heavy rotation across terrace sessions and peak-time floors alike.

Marking both an artistic statement and the birth of a label identity, PRYCEY’s ‘BATCH001’ plays confidently in the sonic territory of tribal-infused tech house, drawing on the kinetic energy and loose-limbed euphoria that define the golden era of Tech House.

Opening with ‘Rompe La Pista’, PRYCEY channels a raw, percussive groove layered with disembodied vocal stabs and rolling sub pressure, engineered for sound systems with muscle.

‘Bossa Nova’ follows with a syncopated deconstructed shuffle, deceptively light-footed yet rich in low-end weight and tactile rhythmic interplay. On the flip, ‘Free Man’ builds momentum with hypnotic loops and atmospheric tension, while ‘Una Messa’ closes the package on a different note, trippy, ritualistic, and drenched in style.

Stripped-back but far from minimal, these are tracks built with dancers in mind and DJs at heart: functional, flavourful, and unmistakably club-focused. With ‘BATCH001’, PRYCEY sets a clear agenda of tactile grooves, tribal undercurrents, and a dedication to dancefloor momentum.
