PREMIERE: Elroy – Shakin

Australia-born talent Elroy debuts on Lee Foss’ influential label Repopulate Mars with three-track EP, ‘Hot’.

Sydney-based DJ and producer Elroy is flying the flag for glitchy, minimal-leaning tech house in his native scene. With support from heavy-hitters such as Marco Carola, Patrick Topping, and Jamie Jones, plus key performances at UNVRSE for Catch & Release’s takeover, Elroy is quickly making a name for himself both at home and on the global circuit. Now, the rising talent continues his upward trajectory with his debut Repopulate Mars EP, ‘Hot’.

“This EP is a defining moment for me. It captures the sound I’ve been building towards over the past few years; raw, textured, and true to the influences that shaped me. I’ve drawn inspiration from the genres I love, blending stripped-back deep tech with wubby synth-driven garage. These tracks feel like a clear reflection of where I’m at creatively, and where I’m heading. Releasing with Repopulate Mars is a big one; it’s the label that first pulled me into tech house and played a huge role in shaping my direction early on. Being part of it now feels like everything is starting to align in a full-circle moment. To be releasing on a label that’s worked with so many big names in the scene is a surreal feeling, and I’m blessed to be part of it. This release marks the start of a new chapter, and I’m proud of what it represents.” – Elroy.

Title cut ‘Hot’ is pure glitched-out tech house goodness, where driving low end and stripped-back percussion collide beneath deftly placed vocal chops. Next, ‘Shakin’ keeps up the pressure with warping synths, slick drum programming, and rapped vox, before ‘Feel The Bass’ rounds things off with a punchy cut powered by UKG-influenced rhythms and a tunneling groove.

We are presenting ‘Shakin’.

‘Hot’ EP will be available after AUgust 15th HERE.
