One of the UK’s most innovative female dance music producers and DJs on the block, Maxinne, returns to Yousef’s Circus Recordings stable with her brand new ‘Come Closer’ EP, loaded with two new potent house jams featuring Aleya Mae and LUMI, ready to tear up the dance floors.
The title track, ‘Come Closer’, is an impactful big room romp, powered by a bubbling bass, crisp beats layered with effervescent electronica and topped with a playful spoken word from Aleya Mae. ‘Higher’ is one for the afters, armed a warm lo-slung fat bass, dynamic synth hooks and peppered with evocative vocal stabs from LUMI, all underpinned by a driving groove teased with tension building breakdowns and drops, destined to lift the roof off!
“I’m so happy to be back on Circus Recordings, a label I’ve loved since the beginning. This EP embodies the sounds that inspire my music, blending influences from acid house, minimal, and garage. Both tracks have sultry and sassy vocals by Aleya and LUMI who I’ve loved working with, both productions bring a unique vibe while staying true to my signature groove.“ – Maxinne
