PREMIERE: Gabriel Rojas & Daniel Alejandro – Missy

Gabriel Rojas and Daniel Alejandro cook up ‘Missy’, a collaborative tech house single for Lee Foss’ South of Saturn label.

Los Angeles-based producers Gabriel Rojas and Daniel Alejandro are two rising forces in the city’s underground house movement, each bringing their own Latin-inspired perspectives. Active since 2012 on labels like WHYNOTUS and Repopulate Mars, Rojas cut his teeth at local house parties before landing sets at iconic venues like Pattern Bar and Space Taco. With percussion-heavy, Latin-infused grooves drawn from his Mexican heritage, he injects fire into every track. Meanwhile, Intentions Records and Used Goods associate Alejandro blends deep house foundations with similar South American influences to craft rhythmically bold and emotionally resonant tracks. Now, the pair unite on Lee Foss’ South of Saturn imprint with their latest drop, ‘Missy’.

The infectious ‘Missy’ reworks classic hip-hop vocal hooks into a bumping rhythm with tribal toms beefing up the groove. It’s restrained but muscular, as the rapped and looped bars rise up through the mix alongside a bassline that never quits. ‘Missy’ delivers old-school swagger through a new-school house lens.

We are presenting ‘Missy’.

‘Missy’ will be available after October 24th HERE.
