UK talent Mörkhal cooks up a cinematic deep techno trip with ‘Aether Construct’ EP on his own 3MOON RECORDS.
UK artist MÖRKHAL, with South Asian and Italian heritage, has long been carving out a distinct place in the world of dark tribal techno. His sound is defined by a weighty, cinematic tension and hypnotic percussive drive. It’s where ritual energy meets raw machine power. Previously releasing under the KAR-L moniker, this new alias symbolises the artist’s progression into a deeper, heavier, and more uncompromising sound. Beyond his artistic work, MÖRKHAL is the founder of KAD Studios and 3MOON RECORDS, which, following a recent rebrand, has now entered the world of vinyl.
“In a time where it feels that the world is in turmoil, I found solace in music away from the materialistic ideology and media sensationalism. The intention was not to create traditional DJ tools, but a cinematic techno journey rooted in the metaphysical philosophy of Monism, the belief that all existence originates from a unified essence.” – MÖRKHAL
Each track on ‘Aether Construct’ EP acts as a chapter in that exploration, shaping a world where darkness, energy, and emotion collide. Opener ‘Mirvak’ has a heavyweight rhythm that rumbles with great menace. Darkly euphoric surges sweep over you as the tight-knit percussion adds texture and tension.
‘Allspark’ has another foreboding cosmic atmosphere that pulls you into the darkness like a black hole, while ‘Kalith’ has unrelenting drum pressure and watery droplets, a sense of post-industrial tension, and hi-fidelity sound design that evokes rich mental imagery. Lastly, ‘Akasha’ expands with a more transcendent, cosmic tone that is eerie and full of mystery, perfect for 4 am dance floors. Together, the four tracks form a continuum of mechanical pressure, ancient shadow, and inescapable techno force.
We are presenting ‘Kalith’.
‘Aether Construct’ EP will be available after January 30th HERE.
