Acclaimed British House producer Sonic Soul Orchestra returns to SoSure Music with a superb new two-track release, ‘Right Now’, featuring talented regular collaborator Camden Rose on vocals. Both tracks come with edits from S.K.O.D.
Sonic Soul Orchestra (AKA JP Firmin) is an English DJ and producer based in London and Los Angeles. He started his own label Interstate Records back in early 1990, along with running his own club nights, which led him to become a booking agent for NY’s DJ Disciple, Dave Camacho and legendary vocalist Michael Watford. In the 2000’s, he began directing and managing global tours for some of the world’s biggest artists and still does today. It was during lockdown that JP became inspired to get back into making house music and since he’s unleashed a plethora of quality original productions and remixes on labels such as SoSure Music, Midnight Riot, Black Riot, Quantize, King St, Groove Odyssey, IAH, Love To Be, LW Recordings and many more. 2026 looks like an exciting year as SSO gets set to launch his new People Watching label.
First up, ‘Right Now’ is an upbeat, catchy love song wrapped in a lush soulful house groove, with Camden Rose delivering one of his signature heartfelt vocal performances that rides over a soundtrack drizzled with beautiful piano melodies. ‘Run The Rhythm’ is equally sumptuous, with Camden pouring his heart out over a funky, feel-good groove teased with emotive piano hooks and sweeping strings. Both tracks come with edits from S.K.O.D., whose magnetic touch, rounds off another stellar addition to the SoSure Music catalogue.
