Blush Response’s Megastructure label proudly presents ‘Hyperventilation’ EP, a striking work from two outstanding Croatian artists: The world-renowned production and DJ powerhouse Insolate, and one of the region’s bravest singer songwriters, Sara Renar.
This seemingly unexpected collaboration brings us a 22 minute genre-defying cathartic exploration through their own individual and collective anxieties. Recorded and produced just before the pandemic, ‘Hyperventilation’ EP now resonates in an almost prophetic manner.
Insolate’s deep atmospherics collide with Renar’s haunting vocals and take the listener on a journey where they are thoroughly shaken, yet still retain hope that the morning may yet bring some relief.
