Boxia’s multi-faceted approach to music allows him to channel his creativity through several styles, maintaining a playful, inventive, and often experimental output. His debut release for Kneaded Pains, ‘Sounds Of The Subway’ EP, pulls together two killer tracks mastered at Luke Slater’s Spacestation Ø Studio.
Having released a slew of sophisticated tracks and remixes for esteemed labels such as Lobster Theremin, World Of Nima, System Records, as well as running his own Outerworld imprint, Boxia is fast becoming a tour de force within the underground techno community.
Shadowy and sub-aquatic vibes are captured on ‘Tama’, as Boxia goes deep into Detroit territory and pulls out a functional and classic sounding track. Title track ‘Sounds Of the Subway’ goes on a hypnotising journey as brain scrambling tones are coerced out of a prime slice of shuffling and energetic techno.
