PREMIERE: Tallmen 785 – A Ways Up

With a love for the dub reggae sounds and the earth-shattering bass frequencies of Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry and King Tubby, Brian Mitchell AKA Tallmen 785 went down a musical pathway that eventually led to the visionary techno sounds of Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, Basic Channel and Sandwell District.

On his first release for the Kneaded Pains label, these dub-wise leanings can be found across three tracks on the ‘Head Down’ EP.

The Berlin based artist has previously released on Scuba’s Hotflush Recordings, Rhythm Nation Records and Off Recordings, and deftly constructs a trio of deep and hypnotic techno tracks for Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains imprint that ooze sophistication and class.

‘Head Down’ EP will be available after the 25th of November HERE.
