Coming from the Austrian Alps, Simon Meusburger is hardly a newcomer on the electronic music scene. Since 2013, he has toured around Europe under his psytrance alias Loxias and has played at multiple festivals and parties — alongside some of the biggest names in the genre. For his new audiovisual techno-live project, the producer is now evolving with a new artistic identity — Surface Division. Surface Division pairs electronic sounds and audio-reactive visuals to create a multisensory experience to delight and energize the audience.

Deep basses, wide spherical pads, and playful melodic synths that Simon pairs perfectly with tight bass drums describe the dreamy aesthetics of Surface Division.

‘Open Space’ is a dark yet melodic house and techno EP consisting of three original tracks, ‘Open Space’, ‘Mellow Spirit’ and ‘Breathe’, and two remixes from Sacred Lines and Tiree Automatic.

Having studied music production and sound design before becoming a DJ and producer, Kent-based Paul Neary is hardly a neophyte in the music scene.

Paul Neary’s tracks tend to take on a dark and spooky minimal style, fusing haunting percussion and delays which carry the melody. Those peculiarities are his true signature and ‘Livid’ EP is the quintessential example of it. In the four original tracks, Neary creates a somber and uncompromising universe, somewhere between ecstasy and stress, psychedelic sounds, and incisive beat. ‘Livid’ EP is complemented with two remixes from Scottish Hc Kurtz and New Yorker Dustin Holtsberry.

Both coming from Mexico City, Alan D’ Cid and Endroi are used to working together and this new EP, ‘Synthetic Genetics’, is their fifth EP, a pure minimal techno and deep tech marvel.

Pretty new on the electronic scene, Alan D’ Cid started producing two years ago. His passion for creating energetic and elegant rhythms, focused on futuristic sounds, are immediately apparent after hearing the four original mixes. Endroi, on his side, has a long career behind him, but only took that name in 2011. Endroi perfectly complements Alan D’ Cid, as he has tendencies to develop more analogical, melodic and heavy sounds.

Essential resident of Barraca, an institution of the very popular Valencian nights, Siles has prepared two new acidic and ...]]> A year and a half after, Siles, also known as Rafa Siles, is back on the French label Curiosity Music with the new techno EP titled ‘Fidemon’, complemented with the remixes from Quenum, Lie2You and Valerio Vaudano.

Essential resident of Barraca, an institution of the very popular Valencian nights, Siles has prepared two new acidic and at the same time rhythmic tracks, ‘Fidemon’ and ‘Lizard’. “It’s the fusion of a diabolic acid sound with quieter elements,” says the Spanish producer.

We are presenting the remix of the title track ‘Fidemon’ from the young Russian rebel Lie2You, aka Dmitry Perevoznikov, previously also known as one half of the duo Overheads.

A mental dive in the heart of a ...]]> Curiosity Music, a young label from France, has signed Jon Cataldo, after releasing music from Tom Zeta and Raul Facio, amongst others. ‘The Wind’ EP is coming with four original tracks of an effective and in chiaroscuro tech house, and two remixes from Dustin Holtsberry and Paul Neary.

A mental dive in the heart of a megalopolis’ rhythm and the impressions that flow from it, that is what Jon Cataldo displays in ‘The Wind’. After a stay in London, he needed to express in music what he saw, felt and discovered, from the effervescence of the city to the art of Tate Modern. “It was a very special moment for me. The atmosphere inspired me a lot for this EP, so when I returned to Sicily, I had to isolate myself in the studio for three months,” says the Italian producer.

We are presenting the ‘Storyteller’ remix from Paul Neary.

Originally from Kent, UK, minimalist technoman Paul Neary signs a version of ‘Storyteller’ that has the gift of playing with our senses, through disturbing vocals and a mix of soft and abrupt sounds that send us to many mental directions.

After discovering the rave scene in the 90’s and starting a band, Mike became involved more in House music. The artist delivers three original tracks to be discovered, as well as a superb remix of the Parisian artist Animal & Me, to be released on July 16th on Curiosity Music.

With its almost shamanic, warm and colorful approach to the sample from Pink Floyd’s ‘Shine on You Crazy Diamond’, ‘Colour Change’ depicts the new school of Tech House – relaxed and full of life.
