Kneaded Pains is a label set up by Dense & Pika as an extension of their unique style and impeccable taste in techno.
Along with featuring music from the label bosses themselves, the imprint has also had contributions from the likes of Truncate, Mark Henning, Boys Noize, Flug, Matt Sassari, and Tiga. Kneaded Pains has also been a platform that champions fresh talent and discovered diamonds in the rough such as DYSART.
London based DYSART aka Matt Tanner released his first EP on Kneaded Pains in April of 2018 and is now returning for his second solo release “Champion Sound” EP. Added to that an impressive debut on Carl Cox’s label Intec, it appears DYSART is quickly snowballing towards becoming a future star of techno.
DYSART prior to his first Kneaded Pains release had only one other release which featured on Darren Emerson’s label Detone, and with an EP lined up on Sasha Carassi’s Phobiq also in the pipeline, word is spreading of his raw talent.
“Champion Sound” is the lead cut and its ominous growling bassline adds menacing tension to the moody atmosphere surrounding it. Building with momentum, the track’s tidal force continues to grow with a steady momentum augmented with explosive percussion and a muffled vocal. Captivating from the first beat, this techno monster is tailor made for dark and sweaty clubs.
“Champion Sound” EP will be available from 13th of August HERE.
