2019 is a great year for Quartz Rec with very-well received EPs by Joton, Cardao, I Am Bam and label boss Paul Ritch. Deas now joins the family with ‘Rush’ EP.
The Greek-born, Poland-based artist has been producing since 2010 and has established himself as one to watch out for in a handful of releases published under labels Secret Room Records, Second State, OFF Recordings and Planet Rhythm. The three tracks presented here on ‘Rush’ EP clearly show why.
Deas develops an acidic sound that slowly crawls into the listener’s mind on ‘Xenon’, which he takes even further on the following title track ‘Rush’. ‘Nebula’ nicely closes this EP on a bleepier and refined cosmic trip.
