A new Turkish label Dreams Way is presenting its first release, ‘Kanun’ EP from German DJ and producer Jacob Groening.
Berlin-based Jacob Groening combines his skills to create musical landscapes with his signature percussive organic sounds. After his successful ‘Sulg’ EP on his own imprint Kamai Music, Jacob Groening will set the start for Istanbul based label Dreams Way.
‘Kanun’ EP is aiming at a path between eastern and western music, blending together old pieces of traditional Kanun phrases, saxophones as well as profound analog sounds in a unique and outstanding way. It consist of two original tracks and four remixes from Anatolian Sessions, HAFT, Onur Diner and Serkan Eles.
We are presenting a remix of the track ‘Yag’ from Anatolian Sessions, a Turkish DJ and producer who has published his original music under many labels including trndmsk, The Purr, Lump Records and his own Harabe.
