iVAV Recordings, a sister label to Birmingham based VIVa MUSiC, is presenting the ‘Step Into The Light’ EP from Heron.
An artist with over 10 years of experience in the game, German artist Heron has been embedded within the techno scene whilst establishing his profile as a producer, DJ and remixer of note. Having gained support from leading figures such as Richie Hawtin early in his career, the following years have welcomed a slew of solo material and collaborations alongside the likes of Inner City’s Ann Saunderon and Dantiez Saunderson landing via legendary labels including Soma and KMS Records. Following releases via Unknown Territory across 2020, his first release of 2021 sees a debut appearance on VIVa MUSiC sister label iVAV Recordings as he delivers his four-track ‘Step Into The Light’ EP – with the EP dedicated to his late friend, Phillip aka Iceberg.
We are presenting ‘The D’, which consist of low-slung, menacing basslines guided by metallic drums and rich stabs.
