Curiosity Music is presenting ‘Open Space’ EP from the Austrian DJ and producer Surface Division.
Coming from the Austrian Alps, Simon Meusburger is hardly a newcomer on the electronic music scene. Since 2013, he has toured around Europe under his psytrance alias Loxias and has played at multiple festivals and parties — alongside some of the biggest names in the genre. For his new audiovisual techno-live project, the producer is now evolving with a new artistic identity — Surface Division. Surface Division pairs electronic sounds and audio-reactive visuals to create a multisensory experience to delight and energize the audience.
Deep basses, wide spherical pads, and playful melodic synths that Simon pairs perfectly with tight bass drums describe the dreamy aesthetics of Surface Division.
‘Open Space’ is a dark yet melodic house and techno EP consisting of three original tracks, ‘Open Space’, ‘Mellow Spirit’ and ‘Breathe’, and two remixes from Sacred Lines and Tiree Automatic.
