Berlin-based Brazilian producer Profanus debuts on Platform rec with ‘Platform 47’, two hypnotic and deep cuts.
Profanus is a free-spirited artist. His nomadic trajectory, which traces over a decade, has enabled him to live in multiple corners of the world. As a DJ and producer, his style reflects the freedom of his trailed path with references to all the places his journey has gone through. His DJ sets carry a rich influence, subtly building stories reflecting his trademark artistic sensibility, spicing it up with nuances that indicate a time, weather, taste or aroma treasured in his memory and brought up in due time.
‘Platform 47’ EP consists of two tracks. ‘Platform 47 A’ is an intense trip made with a firm bassline and bouncing stabs while ‘Platform 47 B’ is a tribal-based groove with a “dreamy” feeling.
