Established in Iceland and now based in Berlin, Árni’s NIX label takes pride in unveiling its inaugural VA, ‘I hate music, especially when it’s played’.
This collection comprises six meticulously curated tracks, each focussed on the dance floor. The compilation seamlessly blends the work of new acts and familiar faces, Alarico, Chlär, Hadone, jelena, Nathan Alexander and Á&H, offering listeners a preview of the label’s forthcoming releases. Consistent with its predecessors, ‘I hate music, especially when it’s played’ reaffirms the label’s ethos of showcasing fresh and singular material.
