Ottawa’s Paul Anthony graces Woodwork Recordings with the ‘Soft Exchange’ EP, a solid offering of intense deep techno under his alias, Ki.
With several strong projects constantly in evolution, Ki is a seasoned producer with a diverse palette of sounds ranging from energetic house, through melodic and moody downtempo, to futuristic soulful beats.
We are presenting ‘Cold Calling’ where the vibes of ‘Soft Exchange’ EP are getting darker and slightly sinister. Dramatic effects in the foreground lead through a dense series of sonic scene changes toward a tense breakdown. A gradual rhythmic shift gives rise to a steamy, evaporating outro.
