Mumbai-based DJ and producer Folic State is back on Soupherb Records with ‘Second Sight’ EP after seven years.
Folic State’s music explores the tension between light and dark, formulating expansive soundscapes among warm, driving percussion. In late 2019 he was handpicked by techno icon Dubfire as one of the finalists of the SCI+TEC mentoring competition. Over the years, his sound has reached the epitome of abstract sophistication.
‘Second Sight’ EP is a techno package of four originals and three remixes from Damien Fisher, Dr. Breger and label boss Ash Roy.
We are presenting the remix of the track ‘The Lost World’ from Barlin and Calcutta based DJ and producer Ash Roy who has published his original music under many labels including Phobos Records, Ballroom Records, Jannowitz Records and Patent Skillz.
