Dallas-based DJ and producer Decoder is back on Molecular Recordings with ‘XX 15’ EP, a mesmerizing blend of sci-fi and deep techno.
Decoder’s music is a fusion of forward-thinking ideas and cultural roots, creating retro futuristic soundscapes with experimental electronic shades. He has published his original music under Axis Records, Float Records and Subsist Records, and his own labels Codec Recordings and Toca Records.
Diverse in its sound, ranging from raw techno to arpeggio-focused beats, Decoder’s tracks showcase crisp, clean production with a minimal yet highly effective approach. Each one of four compositions, ‘XX 15 A1’, ‘XX 15 A2’, ‘XX 15 B1’ and ‘XX 15 B2’, features atmospheric melodies and techno kicks, and embodies less is more philosophy. ‘XX 15’ EP is a captivating showcase of Decoder’s vision – a seamless journey through minimalism, surreal melodies, and innovative soundscapes.
