Jennifer Cardini’s label Correspondant presents Schiela’s ‘Kaskade’ EP, featuring remixes from duo Abdul Raeva and Alinka.
Inspired by a myriad of house music flavors, all colored by the euphoric quality of 90s dance music, the Berlin-based DJ and producer Schiela has made a name for himself for his energetic presence on the club scene.
‘Kaskade’ EP showcases his taste for high energy tunes, and Schiela’s dedication to get dancefloors moving. The title track is heavily inspired by old-school club sounds, with a main lead synth and piano singing out in unison: “Full speed ahead!”. ‘Nachtraum’ is a more introspective track, sounding darker than the producer’s usual cheerful gems. Building a musical trip through the layering of synths and four-to-the-floor kicks, ‘Nachtraum’ is the perfect soundtrack to a cinematic dancefloor journey. The two tracks come with a fresh remix combo by the Estonian duo Abdul Raeva and the Berlin-based DJ Alinka.
